I got to do some agility competitions with Maiccu this weekend - boy did we have fun! On Saturday we went out with the whole gang: Maiccu, Mustonen, Mummy and Taffy and then later on even Svenkka joined us. It was ok, but boy my brother can be an idiot every now and then - sometimes he just forgets how to behave in he public - how embarrasing!

Anyways, the point is that both days our competitions went really well - all four starts! I am quite clever little agility dog really :) On Sunday we even got some prices and everything. Mummy is really proud of me. Thank you very much Maiccu for taking me!

On Sunday Taffy and Mumma stayed behind as they had gone to our agility training that kicked off this weekend. They had had lots of fun as well and so we were all very very happy indeed!

Here are some pics taken this weekend on Saturday's competition and after the competition when we plyed.

 

We were a bit naughty last week - we skipped the tracking training as it was raining cats and dogs - as Mummy put it. I would have quite wanted to go especially to see that rain as I have never seen any cats or dogs dropping of the sky, but Mummy refused to go.

On Wednesday we went to the obedience training. Tilda was practising first with Mummy and they were doing a bit of a jump with a treat bucket on the other side. Mummy did make one mistake that she learnt on Friday more about as she did not make Tilda jump back and forth, which would have been helpful for the next step. Anyways that jump, a little bit of heel work and then a run as fast as you can and catch up a scraming, jumping, running Mummy - recall. I got out of the car later as well and got to do a bit of that jump. Earlier on Wednesday I was being brushed for hours and hours and my hair was cut from my toes, but I'd rather not think about that anymore, so that will be enough of that.

Friday morning we got up really early and drove to Espoo to our other obedience practise with Kata. We did some more of that jump, Tilda did heel work, we both did a couple of ruutus and then Mummy kept dropping some sticks in the grass and made a big fuss when we found them.

After the class we drove to see our friend Ossi. We did not get to play a lot but boy did Mummy and Ossi's Mummy natter - I thought it would never end...

 

 

Ok, it took us an afternoon to turn Mom's new car into a proper little doggytransport wagon. Daddy helped us and put our cages in (apparently they have ordered a gate but while we are waiting for that we have taken most of the car up with our cages) and we took care of the sand and the rest :)

Now that we have the transport wagon we have had no problems getting into our trainings and on Tuesday I was finding the sausages in the field again. It was a bit trickier than it has been before as I wasn't the first one this time and there were lots of other smells already on the field. But I did find lots of sausages and we ended up in the right place. There was also a stick there and Mummy made a big fuss about it when I smelled it. Go figure!

On Wednesday I got to do a little tracking exercise again and then it was turn for Tilda's obedience training. She trained stopping and heelwork. It went ok. Then I got to come out and did a bit of zigzag around the other dogs and some of our homework heelwork things. Mummy was really pleased with my performance giving that there were all those other dogs around.

On Friday we had a little agilitytraining with our friends. Eija was giving Mummy advice what to do with me and Maiccu was practising with Tilda as they are going to a competition or something sometime soon. And afterwards we got to run in the forest with the girls and Kimi.

On Saturday we drove to ourother obedience lesson where we did both some ruutu, one or two step long heels and recalls with lots of speed. It was a good practise again, Mummy got lots of advice and now we just need to practise at home some more before next Fridays training.

On Saturday we drove again for hours and hours just to visit garages - again. I was already settled for a really, really boring day, but then all of the sudden it got lots better for a while. Of course then we sat in the car for hours and hours again to come back home. But here are some pictures of our play on the beach.
